Itinerary
Bear in mind that this is a general itinerary. All of the details will be filled in as we draw closer to the trip. Events with an asterisks (*) means that students will need to bring their own money.

Friday April 16
1. load bus, instrument check and attendance. Leave Valmeyer at 6am
2. 5 hr. coach bus ride (sleep for most of it)
3. Stop for brunch at Mc. D's around 9am*
4. Arrive in Chicago by 11am
5. Shopping, sight-seeing
6. Lunch at 12pm (Chicago style hotdogs!)*
7. Sears Tower tour at 3pm
8. Dinner around 5pm @ Gino's East (Chicago Style Pizza!)
9.Million Dollar Quartet (Musical)
10. Check into hotel
11. Lights out at Midnight

Saturday April 17
1. Continental Breakfast
2. Contest/Performances
3. Lunch near by*
4. Dinner and joust at Medieval Times
5. Pool and chill time at the hotel
6. Lights out at midnight

Sunday April 18
1. Sleep in late
2. Check out at 11am (take everything with you! we will not be coming back to the hotel!)
3. Lunch* (at a buffet, probably something like Old Country or Golden Corral)
4. Museum of Natural History (Field Museum)
5. Dinner on the road*
6. Leave for Valmeyer around 5pm
7.Arrive home by 10pm

The total cost per student will be $250
This price includes:

Hotel and Medieval Times: $135
Bus expenses: $30
Sears Tower: $7
Gino's East: $17
Million Dollar Quartet: $35
Field Museum: $17
Chance to perform, become better musicians and get out of town for a few days....Priceless...

Bring enough spending money for 6 meals and whatever souvenirs you plan to buy. The minimum amount of spending money you need is $30, but it is suggested that you bring $50 or more because everything is more expensive in downtown Chicago.

Payment Plan

Each payment date is planned around either the 1st or the 15th, which are average pay dates for most working adults.
A balance sheet of all students will be posted outside of the band room 2 days after each payment due date. 

If you want to pay all $250 at once, the due date is February 16th
Otherwise, each payment is $50.

1st payment: Jan 19
2nd payment: Feb 2
3rd payment: Feb 16 (also the due date for those who want to pay the full $250 at once)
4th payment: March 2
final payment: April 2

If you want to sign up to work off some of your trip expenses, available work hour are posted outside of the band room.
Students can make $4/ hour doing office work for Miss Logan or Miss Tyrcha, and $6/ hour for working a Music Booster's fundraiser.

NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
