Miss Tyrcha

Miss Tyrcha graduated cum laude in May of 2009 from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois  with a Bachelor of the Arts degree and a K-12 Music, Teaching Certificate. She has toured with the Augustana choir under the direction of Dr. Jon Hurty across the midwest and southwest as well as overseas to Sweden, Denmark and Norway. During her time at Augustana she was also a member of the Chamber Singers, Handel Oratorio Society under the direction of Dr. Jon Hurty and Jenny Lynd choir under the direction of Dr. Michael Zemek.

Hi I'm Miss Tyrcha the new choir director and general music teacher! I recently moved to Waterloo, IL with my cat Bellatrix (Bella for short).  I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, specifically Mt. Prospect. I have a younger brother, Zach who is currently studying pharmacy at Butler University. My mom who is also a teacher and my dad who is an accountant. I loves to spend some of my free time reading and some of my all-time favorites include Harry Potter and The Giving Tree. I love watching movies of all kinds. My favorite foods are pasta, Panera, and chicken. And the one thing I couldn't live without...MUSIC of course!
