Basic Art Concepts Opinion Formation Drawing |
Assign short essay “What Art Means To Me”, emphasizing it is an opinion piece with no right or wrong answer. Due Wednesday. Print discussion of ten artworks with students writing down title, artist and brief critique of each work stating their like/dislike of the work and why they feel that way. Lesson on Alexander Calder and line drawing. Students create a Calder-style linear drawing. Submit for evaluation.
