1. Dr. Jean’s Math/Science “Ten In A Bed” activity…pg. 32 & 33. Cut, glue, color number wheel. Sing song “There were 10 in a bed” as counting down on wheel 10 to 0. 2. Students play card and board games brought from home. Practice following directions, counting, identifying shapes, using strategy, cooperation, etc. 3. Estimate # candy corn in jar. Record answers, count & check.

indian’s head band. Draw corresponding # of dots or symbols on
feathers. Class Graph favorite thanksgiving food. Name 3-4 foods…write on graph. Students write name and draw pix of their choice on post-it. Place choice on graph to record results. Class reads bar graph and discusses “most, least, greatest, fewest, same”. Class Graph who travels on Thanksgiving. Proceedures above. |

Graph which part of gingerbread cookie students bit off first. Discuss. Use 5 GB cut-outs with red, ylw., blue, green, purple shirts colored on. Line up on pocket chart asking group, then individuals… “which is first, second, third, forth, fifth?” Repeat activity. Continue during circle time throughout week. |
