- Students will learn the rules and procedures of P.E. class.  Students will be put into squads that they will be in for the entire semester.  Students will begin learning the warm-ups routine used for our activities.  We will build upon these warm-ups as the year progresses.

 

-Students will learn rules and strategies of flag football.  Students will do various drills to practice the basic skills of throwing and catching a football, pulling of flags, blocking with no hands, and running with the football.  Students will play various lead up games before playing the actual game of flag football.

 

- Fitness Gram

 

- Students will participate in Walk Across America and Circuit Training weekly.

 

-During Character Education students will learn team building skills and the importance of team building activities.

-Students will learn the history, rules, and strategies of basketball.  Students will do various drills to practice the skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting a basketball.  Students will play various lead up games before playing the actual game of basketball.

 

-Students will learn the rules and strategies of ultimate Frisbee.  Students will do various drills to practice basic skills of throwing and catching a Frisbee while stationary and moving.  Students will learn to move without the Frisbee.  Students will play competitive games of ultimate Frisbee.
