            CELEBRATE READING FAMILY STYLE – is the theme for this year’s Family Reading Night.  Valmeyer Library will be celebrating this event with a family evening of food and stories on Thursday, November 16, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with quiet family reading time, the evening will continue with dinner at 5:30 and storyteller at 6:30 p.m.  The meal will consist of sub sandwiches, chips, beverage and dessert.  Cost will be $2.00 per family member.  Sign up your family now and enjoy an evening at the library.  Flyers are coming home with school children, or call 935-2626 to register.

 

Members of the Valmeyer High School Yearbook Staff will be selling AVON products from fundraising sheets during the month of November.  The profits from this sale will be used to help pay off the 2006 Yearbook.  Examples of the kinds of items being sold include AVON’s Mark products and their popular hand creams, soaps, gels and sunscreens.  For more information contact Yearbook sponsor, Phyllis Chilovich at the School.

 

VALMEYER HIGH SCHOOL POST-PROM FUNDRAISER . . . . . HTC is offering a special promotion that will support Valmeyer High School’s Second Annual Post Prom event.  If you sign up for HTC wireless, Valmeyer High School will receive a $25.00 donation from HTC, and you will get a $25.00 credit on your first bill.  You will also receive a free wireless phone (with optional Pirate logo), free activation and one hour of free long distance on your home telephone each month.  Questions - call Becky Karsten at 935-2100, ext. 205, or Hattie Doyle at ext. 204.
