Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. The event will be held rain or shine.
The
Doug Jack, the Athletic
Director at Valmeyer School, just instituted a new program. As he enters scheduling for the different
sports teams, it automatically updates a webpage at www.highschoolsports.net. All of the
WANTED - - - Clean
up crew for two nights of the Valmeyer 4th of July Celebration. Duties include walking the park grounds
picking up trash and emptying trash cans into dumpsters. Clean up can be done the night of the event,

VALMEYER POSTMASTER ALICE WELLEN . . . . . Valmeyer has grown over the
years. One rural carrier can no longer
carry the whole route. We now have two
rural routes. The customers on East
Hunters Ridge, East Harrisonville Drive, Empson Drive, South Cedar Bluff Drive
and Megan Court along with the Senior Apartments will now be on the auxiliary
rural route. These customers will be
getting their mail early each day. The new
carrier is Cheryl Mallon and will start delivering her route at approximately
