LIBRARY Book Clubs are in “the swing”.

BOOK FAIR AT
VALMEYER LIBRARY – March 30 to April 7.
There will be a Scholastic Fair of new books for the youngsters. There will also be a used book fair for all
ages with mainly adult books. Between
now and that date, the Library will be accepting donations of books. Watch the School / Library website for
updates, including which books will be included in the Book Fair Auction. The hours will be during regular library
hours and on Saturday morning, April 2 from
The library is also
holding a raffle to be drawn on April 7.
Items include a handmade “book lamp”, homemade crochet rugs, a reader’s
basket, a homemade chocolate lover’s basket with the chocolate so fresh it will
not be in the basket until April 7, a school house memories basket, a pillow,
and a made-to-order decorated cake.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 or 6 for $5.00 and can be purchased at the
Library.

The Valmeyer Police
have recovered a 20” mountain bike from near the school. If you can identify it, please contact the
Valmeyer Police Department for recovery.
The Valmeyer Police
Department is asking for your cooperation in removing your portable basketball
stands from the street and positioning them behind the
sidewalk when not in use. Warmer weather
promotes more outside activities, and we ask you to share the streets and
sidewalks.
