VALMEYER LIBRARY NEWS . . . There is new furniture in the new addition that was purchased by the PTO.  Come try it out, there is always something new to read . . . . . Summer Reading letters will be going out within the week.  The theme is “Super Heroes Powered by Books”.  The search is on for some volunteer who is available on Tuesday morning during June and July to play the part of the “villain”.  Contact the Library if you or someone you know would like to work with the children in this way.  They need someone who can “hiss” and “boo”. . . . . The Library will be closed from May 17 to July 2 because of a software switch at the Lewis and Clark Library System.  Circulation operations will not be available during that time, so come in soon and get enough books to carry you through . . . and don’t forget about the Book Clubs.

The Library is SELLING WOODEN PLAQUES DEPICTING THE ORIGINAL VALMEYER HIGH SCHOOL in full color.  The plaques are 4 inches by 8 inches and sell for $15.00.  Examples of the plaques are available around town.  Stop by the Library to buy one, or call the Library at 935-2626 to reserve one of these unique items.
