To look in and not out, to look forward and not back, to look up and not down.

IF THE ROOSTER DIES . . . . . . . BUY AN ALARM CLOCK!

It appears a quiet weather week lies ahead.  Following the wild and wet week that has just passed, that will be a welcome relief.  The storm that did the most damage was the one that passed through the area on Thursday night.  It appears that a tornado may have been the culprit that made its way up the Bluff Road Connector (Woodland Ridge) and twisted off quite a few large trees.  Several of those trees were left blocking the roadway and had to be removed by County road crews to allow vehicles to pass through.  It appears the winds may have then hopped over the hill and took out a large tree in the front yard at McNiel’s Bluffside Dairy Farm.  The Saturday afternoon storm brought with it high winds, more than one inch of rain, and a good dose of hail.  Once again the area was spared, however, as others throughout the Metro-East were handed more serious damage including numerous tornado sightings.
