A MESSAGE FROM THE VALMEYER PUBLIC LIBRARY . . . The children are “Celebrating Cool Summer Reading.”  Adults can do the same.  What better way to keep cool than with a cold drink, a shade tree, and a good book.  We have new books by Stephen King, Janet Evanovich, Danielle Steel, Dean Koontz and many more.  Come on in.  It’s cool inside the Library.  Remember our hours.  Monday and Thursday from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  For more information call the phone number at the Library . . .  935-2626.

A MESSAGE FROM THE VALMEYER POST OFFICE . . . . . The Valmeyer Post Office has a new face.  I am temporarily assigned as a supervisor in the O’Fallon, Illinois Post Office for the new three months.  Kim Bickett will serve as OIC until I come back.  Please welcome her.  I thank you for all your support while I was here and look forward to returning in October . . .
