Watch for big changes at Borsch Memorial Park.  The Jaycees have just embarked on a major renovation project there.  A new grandstand and pavilion area will be added behind the home plate area.  This will be a major improvement as it will provide a large area of shaded seating where fans can enjoy cheering for their favorite team as they compete on the baseball field at Borsch.  This project will also include the replacement of the backstop between the two dugouts.  All work will be completed for the start of the summer baseball season.

An effort is being made to identify the members of the first Valmeyer High School Band.  If anyone has a copy of the 1941 Valmeyer High School Pirate Yearbook, please contact Dennis at 935-2142.
