DO YOU BLEED BLUE???????  As part of a fundraising effort, the Valmeyer Science Club is selling Blues Hockey tickets at a reduced rate.  The game currently available is December 18th against San Jose.  The Blues organization has offered tickets that would normally have a face value of $35 to the Valmeyer Science Club at a reduced rate, and they are able to sell these tickets for $25 each.  If you are interested in tickets, call Mrs. Geringer (Science Club sponsor) at 935-2100, extension 211.  All tickets need to be ordered by December 2nd.

 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS . . . VALMEYER FFA POINSETTIA OPEN HOUSE at the Valmeyer High School FFA Greenhouse - - - Sunday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Poinsettias will be available in red, pink, white and variegated.  The greenhouse will also be open from noon until 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. on each school day.  For more information contact 935-2100, extension 102.

 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS . . . A GREAT PLACE FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING . . . FARM TOY SHOW at Valmeyer High School - - - Sunday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Admission for all is $1.00.  This event sponsored by the Valmeyer FFA Alumni.

 

Applications are currently being accepted for nominations for those to be inducted in 2004 to the Valmeyer School Music Hall of Fame.  Nominees:

·         do not need to be VHS graduates . . . must be at least 23 years of age . . . can be living or deceased . . .

·         will be inducted into the Valmeyer School Music Hall of Fame because of their outstanding abilities in music and / or dance performance, because of their outstanding service as music educators, or because they have made an outstanding contribution to music in the school and / or the community.  Induction may be because of any one or more of the previously listed criteria.
