You don’t have to wait any longer . . . COMING THIS WEEK TO THE STAGE AT VHS . . . BYE BYE BIRDIE . . . . . . . Sweet Apple, Ohio will never be the same as teenage heart-throb Conrad Birdie descends upon that town to bestow a kiss upon one of the members of his fan club – Kim MacAfee.  The students of Valmeyer High School have worked very hard on this production so be sure to attend one of the performances scheduled for this week.  Performances will be Thursday, November 14th . . . . . Friday, November 15th . . . . . and Saturday, November 16th.  All show times are at 7:30 p.m.

 

FOUND ON HALLOWEEN - - - ONE BICYCLE - - - Girl’s 20 inch – 15 speed bicycle - - - What color is it???  What brand is it???  Where’d you lose it???  If you can identify your lost bicycle stop by the Valmeyer Police Department to claim your lost vehicle.

 

The School is collecting empty inkjet and printer cartridges to recycle as a fundraiser.  These items can be dropped off at the Unit office.  If you have any questions, contact Tech Director, Rich Kasson at the School.

 

ANNOUNCING - - - 2003 VALMEYER YOUTH SPORTS ASSOCIATION BASKETBALL AND CHEERLEADING . . . . . Games played at Valmeyer School . . . Separate boys and girls teams . . . Registration and all fees are due at sign up. . . Open to Kindergarten through 8th graders . . . Includes cheerleading and tumbling . . . RECYCLING DAY – Saturday, November 16 – Please have your recyclable items at the curb by 8:00 a.m. that day.

            Thursday, November 14 – Bye Bye Birdie on the High School stage at 7:30 p.m.

            Friday, November 15 – Bye Bye Birdie on the High School stage at 7:30 p.m.

            Saturday, November 16 – Bye Bye Birdie on the High School stage at 7:30 p.m.

 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE VILLAGE-SPONSORED LARGE ITEM PICKUP DAY - - - Thursday, November 21.  Please have your large items at the curb at the same time as your regular garbage pickup items on that day.  Items that can be picked up include old appliances, furniture, etc. that is too large to be included in the regular pickup.  ALL DOORS, COMPRESSORS AND ELECTRIC MOTORS MUST BE REMOVED FROM ALL APPLIANCES.  For additional questions, contact Laurie at Village Hall.

 

The School is offering email accounts to Village residents for $10 per year.  They are available immediately.  For more information contact Rich Kasson, the Valmeyer School Tech Coordinator.
