A
MESSAGE FROM THE VALMEYER POST OFFICE . . . . . A special thanks to all customers who purchased the Heroes Stamps
at the Valmeyer Post Office! The Post
Office held a promotion for the most sales of these stamps earlier in
September. The results were tallied and
the Valmeyer Post Office had the highest sales of Heroes Stamps in its size
category in the Gateway District! This
is a very important stamp, as each one sells for 45 cents, with 8 cents going
to the 9-11 effort. This contribution
provides assistance to the families of emergency relief personnel killed or
permanently disabled in the line of duty in connection with the terrorist
attacks on 9/11/2001. These stamps are
still available at the Post Office.
Thanks for your support! . . . . .from Postmaster Alice. Do
you have all your Christmas cards and packages mailed yet? December 16 is supposed to be the
busiest day of the holiday season for the Post Office. Valmeyer Post Office is planning a customer
appreciation day on December 16.
Cookies and drinks will be available to all customers who come inside
that day. Everyone is welcome so stop
by for some holiday cheer !
