OLD BUT WISE CHINESE PROVERBS . . . . .
Man who run in front of car get tired. Man who eat many prunes get good run for money.
Man who run behind car get exhausted. Man who drive like hell bound to get there.
Man with one chopstick go hungry. Man who live in glass house should change clothes in
basement.
COMING SOON TO VALMEYER . . . . . . . . AUCTION OF THE JOHN DEERE COLLECTION OF ALLYN NIEBRUEGGE on Saturday, August 18th at Borsch Park beginning at 10:00 a.m. More than 70 tractors from Allyn’s extensive collection will be for sale. Allyn spent most of his life following his passion . . . . . . . . tractors and the things that made them work. The mass of Niebruegge John Deeres during the Midsummer Celebration Parade was a favorite sight for all, and was sorely missed during the 2001 event. Allyn would recruit drivers from throughout the County to help him showcase his collection on that annual occasion, and all those asked were more than happy to accept the challenge to drive a piece of history down Valmeyer’s Main Street. Not only did he enjoy his hobby . . . . . . . . he was one of the most skilled mechanics in this area, and his meticulous restorations were envied by many. The auction will also include numerous parts, tools and gas engines. Aumann Auctions of Nokomis, Illinois will be conducting the auction, and is predicting that thousands of people from across the country will come to Valmeyer on August 18 in search of treasure. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view this great "GREEN AND YELLOW" collection before it leaves town in the hands of many happy collectors. Be there!!!!!!!!!!!1
