Don’t know what to do with your obsolete computer and accessories???? If you throw them out with the trash, they will clog the landfill with toxic materials and non-biodegradable metals and plastics. Instead, call United Recycling Industries, Inc. in Illinois, which will recycle your computer and safely treat the toxic components. United will send you a shipping label for $27.99. The cost of the label covers the handling and transportation to United’s recycling facility. You simply put your computer in a box, affix the label and take it to your nearest UPS pick-up site. For details, call 1-800-270-8220 or 630-231-6060 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST weekdays, or visit United’s web site at www.unitedrecycling.com. Enclosed with your Take-Back kit will be an offer from Compaq Computers for a discount on future purchases.
