Evening music by B-Side Band.

Work is now underway to complete some improvements to the first of the two MAR pavilions at Borsch Park and this will be put into use for the Midsummer Celebration 2001. This will help to relieve some of the congestion around the original pavilion next to the baseball field. Food, refreshment and games stands will be set up at the new pavilion site, and evening musical entertainment will take place there as well.
The theme for the Midsummer Celebration Parade this year is BASEBALL . . . . . in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Midsummer Classic Baseball Tournament in Valmeyer. Its time to begin working on your float ideas. The Jaycees are looking for entries of all types floats, walking entries, bands, antique vehicles, tractors, etc. If you need any additional parade information, or are interested in participating in the parade, contact Parade Chairman, Brian Coats.
