Recycling Day – Saturday, May 5 – Please have your recyclables at the curb by 8:00 a.m. For those new to town, remember that the following materials can be recycled - - - - glass (all colors), aluminum, tin cans and newspapers. The recycling program is conducted by the local 4-H club and the Valmeyer High School Student Council. These two organizations benefit financially from their work with the recycling program, and the rest of us benefit because of the service they are providing for the well-being of our environment. If you have any questions about the recycling program, contact Laurie at Village Hall.

There have been numerous complaints about stray cats in town. The Valmeyer Police Department will begin trapping these cats. If you are missing a cat, please contact the Valmeyer Police Department.
