DID YOU KNOW THAT the Library is having a BOOK FAIR from March 29 – April 5????? There will be Scholastic books for the young people, but there will also be books for adults. Whichever category you are interested in, be sure to come by - - browse - - and buy. There will be three evening sessions – March 29, April 2 and 5 – and one Saturday morning – March 31. These times are in addition to the regular school hours. VISIT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY!!!

Friday, March 30 – Grade cards mailed.
Friday, March 30 – Junior Class Play – THE BOARDING HOUSE REACH at 7:30 p.m. - High School Gym.
Saturday, March 31 – Young Author’s Conference at Valmeyer School.
Saturday, March 31 – High School Baseball at Red Bud (2).
Saturday, March 31 – Junior Class Play – THE BOARDING HOUSE REACH at 7:30 p.m. - High School Gym.

* Please note due to problems with the grass on the school field, all High School Baseball games will be played at Borsch Park.

The Junior Class Play - - - "THE BOARDING HOUSE REACH" will be presented Friday, March 30th & Saturday, March 31st in the VHS Gym. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission price is $2 for students & $4 for adults.

March 28 – the Valmeyer Senior Citizens will be having a pot luck dinner at Noon at the Emergency Services Building and the regular monthly meeting will follow.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Large item pickup sponsored by the Village of Valmeyer. Thursday, March 29th. For information on what items can be placed at the curb, contact Laurie at Village Hall.

The members of St. John UCC will be holding another fish fry on Friday, March 30 with serving from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. Once again they will have cod and walleye.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Valmeyer Music Boosters Dinner Auction – "BON APPETIT" – on Saturday, April 21. This event will include a silent and live auction, as well as a delicious gourmet dinner. Your ticket price also includes the VHS Music Department musical production of "The Boyfriend" on the VHS stage. The musical will begin immediately following the completion of the live auction. To donate items for the auction, please contact Marcia Braswell or Amy Haynes at Valmeyer School, Music Boosters President Barb Kendall or Auction Chair Becky Schaefer. Tickets can be purchased at First Bank - Valmeyer, Mike’s Convenience, Village Hall & First National Bank in Waterloo.

Tickets are currently on sale for the 62nd Annual Alumni Banquet at Valmeyer High School on Saturday, May 12th. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. at the School, with the dance to follow at 8:00 p.m. at the Firehouse. Tickets for dinner only are $12.00, dance only $5.00, and a combination ticket for dinner and dance is $15.00. Tickets are available at Mike’s Convenience, MAR Graphics, First Bank in Valmeyer or the main branch of First National Bank of Waterloo.

Saturday, April 14th – Open tryouts for the Valmeyer "ZIPS".
